Chemex filters are 20-30% heavier than other filters and remove even the finest particles of sediment. The filter design facilitates the correct brewing time by regulating the filtration rate - approximately 4 minutes.

They produce coffee with clarity, complexity and a light body.
Before filtration, since filters are made of heavy paper, they should be thoroughly rinsed with hot water to remove any paper taste.
