Extractions like you have never seen before
Each component of the machine contributes to creating the perfect espresso. The Lelit58 portafilter with the coffee outlets coffee slide delivers the espresso into the cup while respecting the crema. Nothing is done by chance; the angle, the length of the coffee outlets, and the open areas are carefully calibrated to always provide the best extraction.

Energy saving
MaraX is equipped with a sophisticated energy-saving system that reduces the pressure in the steam boiler after a 30-minute inactivity period. The savings achieved are significant, avoiding unnecessary energy waste. The heating time of the machine once turned on is only 24 minutes.
1- Steam Mode: In this mode, the machine operates as if it were equipped with 2 boilers. Indeed, it ensures the availability of steam once the extraction is complete. In this scenario, the temperature profile of the coffee extraction is less stable but becomes more defined during the brewing process. The heat exchanger works more intensively to balance the temperature variations inside the boiler during the extraction process.
2- Mode X café : In this mode, the machine operates as if it were equipped with a single PID-controlled boiler. The software then turns off the steam boiler during the coffee extraction, which reduces the risk of overheating (a problem often associated with heat exchanger machines) and optimizes thermal stability. To recognize which mode the device is in, simply turn the machine off and then back on; if the ON/OFF switch indicator blinks, it indicates that Mode X Café is active.
The Steam Boost
Each time the infusion lever is activated and then deactivated, the software instructs the machine to turn on the heating element. This happens for 2 reasons: on one hand, the element heats the cold water that has just been introduced into the kettle, and on the other hand, the steam pressure for frothing the milk increases. This means that the user can simply froth milk without making a coffee extraction; to increase the steam pressure, it is enough to lift and then lower the coffee lever to achieve more than 1.2 bar of steam pressure for 120 seconds.
The Double NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) System
The MaraX is equipped with 2 temperature sensors, allowing for faster heating as well as excellent thermal stability during the production of steam and hot water. Additionally, it functions as a dual control system. Indeed, when one of the sensors detects a temperature fluctuation, the heating element activates to restore it.
